I learned two very good lessons this night, 1. never go clubbing with your boyfriend (or maybe this particular boyfriend) and 2. If you see a good guy friend don’t walk up to him and greet him ‘cause you will be pinched very hard on your exposed back.
I don’t know what possessed me to wear this outfit, oh yeah I was in high school. I couldn’t have been older than 16.
Me on my 20th birthday.
This was probably at my skinniest. 98 pounds. These were definitely some dark times. I remember not wanting a cake or anything but I did it to please my mom.
Photo bomb by the nephew getting a taste of my cake.
Here’s another one of us, this time with Paulette. Seems like we always posed for pictures in the same spot. I think we both had most of our classes upstairs. This was taken either before lunch or after lunch. We’re standing in front of the second pair of stairs. Good times!
I think this was sometime between 2002-2003.
Vero and I were very close during high school. Our sisters had a falling out and she and I lost touch over the years. I think we’re in good terms. I seen her at a burger diner while I was with my ex a couple years ago, and we greeted each other with a hug. I was happy to see her. It’s moments like this that I’m tempted to open a facebook.
I dedicated to the lipliner most of my high school years. Haha
This was the last time I was in Mexico. Almost 7 years ago.
One Memorial Day weekend. Famiy from San Fernando Valley and San Diego got together for a weekend of fun. We used to stay at our ranch in the middle of nowhere to camp. These kinds of good times need to be repeated!
My drunk face.
Unfortunately I have dozens and dozens of these kind of pictures. How did I walk around? I probably banged my head somewhere, it’s known to have happened. I could blame the bright flash but no, I was drunk.
If you could believe I drank and was drunk the most between the ages of 18-20. Before the legal age of drinking. Not proud to say. They were also the years I went out clubbing the most. Never had a fake I.D. I’d show my I.D. at 18 and over clubs and would get a wristband for drinks. Maybe it was ’cause I looked older. That, and I had friends with hook up to certain clubs.
This Monday. She’s the tiny ball of hair I was referring to. Dahlia. My best friend Hannah was released from the hospital yesterday. She’s gonna have a “welcome home” gathering at her home Saturday for this little bundle of joy.
Most of my friends are on their second or third child and I still have none. I suppose that is a good thing, right? Or not! *shrugs*
It’s my cousin Vania’s birthday today. She lives up in Hesperia, CA. Almost 2 hours from my home. Growing up we didn’t always see eye to eye. I was very close to her sister Lucia (still are, I baptized her boy this weekend). Vania would get jealous every time I came over to visit on summer vacation, she thought I was trying to take her sister’s attention from her. But that’s when we were teenagers and now we’re adults and get along incredibly. I spent NYE at her house. People used to say we looked alike. Oh, and she recently got engaged and I couldn’t be happier for her. Hope to see her again for Easter.
Remember those pictures I mentioned I found in the garage? (this post) Well some were from this Halloween party. I thought they were lost forever. Probably the best Halloween I’ve ever had. I had such a blast with my friends. I was so drunk by the end of the night.
I was the cowgirl in case you don’t recognize me. I miss my blonde streaked hair sometimes.
The kitty cat is my bff Hannah. I’m happy to say we’re still very close. Can’t speak the same about the other two girls on the left. Girl in the middle with a robe is Evelin, she’s Hannah’s sister, she and I are still cool too.
Ever had strawberry kamikaze shots? I advice you to try one, though they’re like potato chips, just can’t have only one. Men will always volunteer to put it in your mouth, but they’re delicious, topped with whipped cream. Those little suckers will sneak up on you before you know it!
The sister and I in a parking lot at the Dodger Stadium.
Summer of 2006. We went to a lot of games that year ‘cause the VP at my old job would give his employees season tickets.
I was tan back then and blonde!
I hope to go to more baseball games this spring, not necessarily with her but anyone is fine.
Mini niece’s wedding spam. So many photos to choose from but I won’t clutter up your dash.
